How the picks are made

Each week a three-seat analyst panel works every game we price. Three analysts read the same evidence pack on their own, each names a side on the spread and on the total, and the pick is what survives their disagreement, printed with the vote behind it. When they do not agree, the panel passes, and a pass is shown as a pass.

A pick locks the moment it publishes, at the number it published at, and never changes. It grades against that same number within 24 hours of the final, win or lose, on the record.

Every pick carries a tier: high, medium or low. A pick is high when all three analysts take its side at a captured number and at least one of them ranks it among their strongest sides of the run or grades it a bet. Nothing tops up the tier: a week can carry many highs or none, and each write-up says why its pick earned the label. A spread of 40 or more points is never above low. A tier is never a win probability or a hit rate.

What is free, and what is for members

Free: the record, every graded pick with its final score. One free pick a day, Tuesday through Sunday, alternating CFB and NFL, labeled with its tier, stamped when it drops. The power ratings, the research articles and the betting calculators.
